The Logistics and Warehouse Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our logistics and warehouse management, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and quality.

As we continue to grow a Logistics and Warehouse Manager will also play a critical role in the expansion of our supply chain across the European Union by establishing a robust network of partners and distributors.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Logistics Manager will be instrumental in driving the success of our supply chain operation, encompassing all aspects from in- and outbound logistics to warehousing and intra-logistics.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Analysis:
  1. Formulate and execute strategies to maximize customer value and enhance profitability.
  2. Analyze transportation costs and manage the procurement of transportation resources.
  3. Implement risk and opportunity management; manage deviations within projects.
Expansion and Network Development:
  1. Spearhead the expansion of our car parts supply chain across the European Union.
  2. Establish and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with partners and distributors.
Process Design & Implementation:
  1. Design and implement collection, transportation, and consolidation processes.
  2. Handle commercial negotiations with carriers for project-specific requirements.
  3. Establish and maintain high operating standards for stakeholder satisfaction.
  4. Develop and implement an efficient warehouse setup in line with the company’s business goals.
Team Leadership & Development:
  1. Assemble and lead a dynamic warehouse team.
  2. Develop and apply relevant KPIs.
  3. Facilitate comprehensive training programs for skill enhancement.
Procurement & Vendor Management:
  1. Manage warehouse-related procurement activities with a focus on stakeholder involvement.
  2. Oversee vendor and contract management for strategic global warehouse-related suppliers.
  3. Collaborate closely with logistics regions for vendor management.
Procurement & Vendor Management:
  1. Ensure adherence to legal and contractual obligations, including transport insurance requirements.
  2. Coordinate shipment processes, liaising with suppliers and carriers.
  3. Handle transportation invoice discrepancies and authorize payments.
  4. Create and enforce commercial guidelines, templates, and processes for the logistics department.

Competencies Required:

Language & Communication:
  1. Fluency in English and Hungarian; strong negotiation skills.
Experience & Skills:
  1. Minimum of 3 years in a logistics management role or equivalent.
  2. Proficient in MS tools: MS Project, Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  3. Familiarity with local/global transportation and parcel tracking services
  4. Basic commercial acumen and legal knowledge for transportation and customs.
  5. Knowledge of warehouse logistics basics, WMS.
Strategic & Analytical Skills:
  1. Strong planning, organizing, and priority setting abilities.
  2. Solid analytical and financial knowledge with a focus on customer value and profitability.

Additional Qualifications:

  1. Global operations and project management experience is a plus.
  2. Effective coaching skills to build and lead a competent team.
